Cream Cheese Brownies

I love cream cheese AND brownies, so this recipe just makes sense to me! Enjoy!



Cream Cheese Brownies

INGREDIENTS:

2/3 cup butter

¼ cup water

1 ½ cups sugar

12 oz chocolate chips

2 tsp vanilla

4 eggs

1 ½ cups flour

½ tsp each salt & baking soda

16 oz cream cheese, softened

2 eggs

1 cup sugar

2 tsp vanilla (or peppermint)


In pan, bring to a boil: butter, water, & 1 ½ cups sugar. Take off heat and stir in chocolate chips. Add 2 tsp vanilla. Beat in 4 eggs, one at a time. Stir in: flour, salt, & soda. Pour into greased 13 x 9 inch pan.


Stir together: cream cheese, eggs, 1 cup sugar, and 2 tsp vanilla. Drop by spoonfuls and then marble with knife. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done.
