Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy

I made this early in our marriage and it's on of Tyler's top favorites. Enjoy.

Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy:

½ cup flour
1 to 2 tsp paprika
1 ½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
6-8 boneless pork chops (1 inch thick)
¼ cup butter
1 medium onion, chopped
½ cup chopped green pepper
1 can (4oz) drained mushroom pieces
2 cups milk
2 tbsp lemon juice

In a large plastic bag, mix the first 4 ingredients. Add pork chops, one at a time; toss to coat. (keep remaining flour). In a large skillet, sauté chops in butter until golden brown; transfer to a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. In same skillet, sauté the onion, green pepper, & mushrooms until tender. Add remaining flour & milk until blended. Bring to a boil; cook & stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice. Pour over chops. Cover & bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink. Serve with potatoes or rice. Print Friendly and PDF Pin It
