Fried Shrimp

Fried Shrimp

INGREDIENTS:

1 ½ lbs uncooked shrimp, peeled & deveined

½ cup oil

1 egg, beaten

1 cup flour

½ cup milk

¾ tsp seasoning salt

½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

Oil for frying


HOW TO PREPARE:

Preheat oil to 350 degrees. 


Combine ½ cup oil and egg; beat well. Add remaining ingredients except for shrimp and the oil for frying. Stir well.

Dip shrimp into batter to coat. Fry for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with slotted spoon; drain on cooling rack over jelly roll pan. Serves 6.
