Scalloped Potatoes

My Grandma gave me this recipe a few years ago and it is fabulous! I highly recommend you try this dish.

Scalloped Potatoes:
1 ½ lbs small unpeeled red potatoes
6 tbsp butter, divided
3 tbsp flour
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 ½ cups milk
2 cups shredded cheese, divided
4 green onions, thinly sliced

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease dish. Boil potatoes until done. Drain, rinse in cold water. Let cool. Put aside.
Melt 4 tbsp butter in saucepan, add flour, salt, & pepper. Stir. Add milk & cook until thick. Add 1 ½ cup cheese. Cut potatoes in slices. Layer potatoes, onions, cheese sauce. Top with remaining butter and cheese. Bake 30-35 minutes.
