Everyday Meatloaf

I grew up with this recipe and when Tyler & I were newlyweds, I made it for him. He has requested it often since then.

Everyday Meatloaf:
2 beaten eggs
¾ cup milk
2/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp grated onion
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground sage
Dash of pepper
1 ½ lbs ground beef
¼ cup ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
¼ tsp ground nutmeg

Combine eggs, milk, bread crumbs, onion, salt, sage, & pepper. Add beef & mix well. Pat mixture into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Combine remaining ingredients. Spread over meat loaf. Bake 15 minutes longer. Print Friendly and PDF Pin It
