This is a recipe by my Grandmother Shiell.
Soda Cracker Pie
INGREDIENTS:
12 soda crackers, crushed
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp baking powder
3 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 pint whipped cream
Mix crackers, pecans and baking powder. Beat egg whites and then add sugar and vanilla. Mix and add to cracker mixture. Pour into 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Whip whipping cream. Put on pie when cool. Refrigerate for several hours. Can make the night before.
