Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy

Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy

INGREDIENTS:

½ cup flour

1 to 2 tsp paprika

1 ½ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

6-8 boneless pork chops

¼ cup butter

1 medium onion, chopped

½ cup chopped green pepper

1 can (4oz) drained mushroom pieces

2 cups milk

2 tbsp lemon juice

HOW TO PREPARE:

In a large plastic bag, mix the first 4 ingredients. Add pork chops, one at a time; toss to coat. (keep remaining flour). In a large skillet, sauté chops in butter until golden brown; transfer to a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. In same skillet, sauté the onion, green pepper, & mushrooms until tender. Add remaining flour & milk until blended. Bring to a boil; cook & stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice. Pour over chops. Cover & bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink. Serve with potatoes or rice.
