Country Chicken Soup

I love making this soup with cracked wheat bread. They go together so well. :)

Country Chicken Soup:
2-3 carrots, sliced
2 tsp salt
1 onion, chopped or 3 tbsp dehydrated onions
¼ tsp pepper
½ tsp basil
¼ tsp thyme
3 tbsp parsley flakes
1 10 oz package frozen peas
1 cup frozen corn
Shredded cooked chicken
6 cups water
Egg noodles
1 cup milk

Place all ingredients in pot except noodles & milk. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Add noodles. Reduce to simmer & cook until noodles are done. Thicken 1 cup milk with 2 tbsp flour. Pour into pot & cook a little longer. Print Friendly and PDF Pin It
