Cheesecake Trifle

Want cheesecake but don't have the time to bake one? This recipe is a cinch and very satisfying.

Cheesecake Trifle:

1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup (8oz) sour cream
½ cup cold milk
1 pkg (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 carton (12oz) cool whip, thawed
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
¼ cups melted butter
2 cans (21oz each) strawberry pie filling (or blueberry, cherry, etc)

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar and sour cream; mix well. In a small mixing bowl, beat milk & pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes. Stir into cream cheese mixture. Fold in cool whip. Toss the crumbs & butter. In a 2 ½ qt trifle bowl, or a glass bowl, layer half of the cream cheese mixture, crumbs, & pie filling. Repeat layers. Refrigerate until serving.
