Pizza Casserole

This is a good recipe for potlucks or large families. Or both.

Pizza Casserole:
1 ½ lb ground beef
½ cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced Italian sausage
1 jar (28oz) ragu
2 cans sliced mushrooms, drained
1 tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried oregano
Dash of pepper
1 pkg (16oz) wide egg noodles, cooked & drained
2 packages (3 ½ oz each) sliced pepperoni
4 cups shredded cheese

In a large skillet, brown beef & onion over medium heat until cooked; drain. Add sausage, ragu, mushrooms, salt, garlic powder, oregano, & pepper; heat through. Spoon 4 cups into 5 quart crock pot. Top with half of the noodles, pepperoni & cheese. Repeat layers. Cover & cook on high for 1 hour or until cheese is melted. Serves 12. Print Friendly and PDF Pin It

I made this Pizza Caserole for my family and they loved it!! My husband took some to work the next day and everyone had to have a taste. We will definately make it again but we are going to use sage sausage instead of hamburger (we like spicy food). Thanks so much.
